Oversee multiple projects throughout Texas from bid to completion, by providing the knowledge, skills and experience working with subcontractors, and manage the construction of assigned projects in an efficient manner, ensuring timely delivery of a quality product to the client.

MAIN DUTIES:


Manage, coordinate, and maintain each project for which this individual is responsible, including scheduling on projects.

Oversee the Detailed Project Assessment with a weekly analysis of QC issues.

Responsible for the QC data of: safety issues, production issues, project progress, possible future problems, a “looking ahead” paragraph, and backup narratives of extra work, detailed errors, fab errors, delivery errors, etc.

Establish and arrange Job Kick off Meetings and preconstruction meetings with Superintendents, Field Supervisors, and Foreman’s.

Communicate all information regarding problems with vendors and general contractors, as well as solution to issues with Superintendents and other Project Managers.

Attend each subcontractor meeting for each project.

Travel as needed for job site visits and meetings.

Accountable for Invoice approvals, compare invoices with delivery tickets and bar-lists. Resolve discrepancies found between invoice, delivery ticket and bar-list.

Resolve discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information.

Generate and prepare reports.

Supervise and account for the work of the project engineers and assistants.
Cross-train team members and promote team work in your specific area of expertise.

Complete and update forms in accordance with company procedures.

Advocate the company policies and procedures in accordance to company's employee handbook.

Perform other duties as assigned by management.


QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.

Experience in the reinforcing steel / rebar construction industry.

Ability to read and comprehend structural drawings.

Excellent written and verbal Communication Skills.

Excellent Time Management Skills.

MS Office proficient is a must (Excel and Outlook mostly).

Safety knowledge is a plus.

Bilingual (English/Spanish).
